Loma L. Rudnik, age 68 of Warsaw, ND passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks.
Loma L. Goodman was born Nov. 5, 1947 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Walter and Marie (Boye) Goodman. She grew up and attended schools in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High School. She attended Aaker’s Business College in Fargo for one year. She was united in marriage to Joseph I. Rudnik on December 3, 1966 in Grafton. The couple lived and farmed near Warsaw. Loma worked in Grafton for several different employers until the early 1990’s when she attended the AVTI in Thief River Falls, MN for Avionic mechanics. Following her education she worked at the New Flyer Bus plant and then went to work for Cirrus Designs in Grand Forks. She worked there until 2009. She was currently working as a dietary aid at the Life Skills and Transition Center of Grafton.
She was a member of the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and Altar Society of Warsaw, ND.
Loma is survived by her sons: Neil (Rhonda) Rudnik, Tioga, ND; Joel (Kayla) Rudnik, Grafton, ND; two grandsons: Brady and Brent Rudnik, Devils Lake, ND; her brother, Neil (Darlene) Goodman, Minot, ND; brother-in-law, Don (Marianne) Rudnik, Minto, ND; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Richard) Birkholz, Fargo, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband on March 22, 2013.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 30,2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Warsaw. Visitation will be Monday from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, Warsaw, ND.
