Leslie S Chally

Leslie S. Chally, age 84 of Adams, ND passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Leslie Chally was born September 1, 1932 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Louis and Stella (Qually) Chally. He attended the Gryde School in Vesta Township and Adams High School. Following his education he began farming with his father. Leslie was married to Eldora Storey in Fresno, CA on February 4, 1961. They made their home on the Chally Farm. Leslie and Eldora had a son, Douglas and a daughter, Phyllis.

Leslie was a member of the Mountain Lutheran Church of Adams. He served on the Vesta Township Board for a number of years. He loved taking care of his family, his farm and his cattle.

Leslie is survived by his wife, Eldora, his son, Douglas of Adams, daughter, Phyllis (Curtis) Manley, Independence, MO; his grandson, Dylan and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Vernon and sisters: Eunice and Marion.

Memorial services will be Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River, ND. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at East Adams Cemetery, rural Adams, ND. Memorials are preferred to the Adams Quick Response.
