Leonard F. Dvorak, age 77 of Grafton passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Leonard F. Dvorak was born March 31, 1934 in Pisek, ND, the son of the late Adolph and Mary (Matejcek) Dvorak. He attended rural school in the Pisek area. After his schooling Leonard began farming with his brothers. He was united in marriage to Leila Halvorson on September 16, 1963. The couple made their home on the family farm near Pisek. Leila passed away on February 2, 2000. Leonard moved to the Lutheran Sunset home in 2009. He enjoyed fishing at the Lake of the Woods, Hunting, four-wheeling and woodworking. He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church, Veseleyville, ND. Leonard is survived by his sisters: Mary Votava, Grand Forks, ND; Dorothy (John) Kosobud, Lankin, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife Leila, parents, brothers: Albert, Henry, Adolph and Hubert Dvorak; sisters: Rose Beneda, Ann Praska and Marcella Kalash. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. Luke's Catholic Church, Veseleyville, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the St. Luke's Catholic Cemetery, Veseleyville.
