Kristine K. Dusek

Kristine K. "Kris" Dusek, age 49 of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Unity Medical Center of Grafton. Kristine K. Nolte was born April 7, 1963 in Wadena, MN the daughter of Paul and Joanne (Burley) Nolte. She graduated from Sebeka High School in 1981. She attended NDSU for two years and graduated from nursing school in Fergus Falls, MN. Following her education she worked in Fargo and Grand Forks, ND. Kris was united in marriage to James Dusek on March 19, 1988 in Sebeka, MN. The couple made their home in Grafton where she worked as a nurse at the Grafton Developmental Center, Unity Hospital and she was currently working as Dr. Kotnik's nurse at the Grafton Family Clinic. Kris was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, taking her dogs on long walks and spending time with her kids. She was a full-blown Minnesota Vikings fan, never missing a game. She enjoyed donating her home grown bouquets to the Unity Hospital Foundation Auction and sharing her beautiful flowers with others. Kris is survived by her husband James; two children: Andrew and Ainsley Dusek, all of Grafton, ND; her parents Paul and Joanne Nolte, Sebeka, MN; siblings: Terri Churchman, Overton, NV; Rodney Nolte, Sedona, AZ; Rebecca (James) Hoefs, Sebeka, MN; Mark (Dianne) Nolte, Valley City, ND and Tim (Rita) Nolte, Sebeka, MN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at St. John's Catholic Church. Friends may also call at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Memorial are suggested to the Unity Hospital Foundation, 164 W. 13th, Grafton, ND 58237
