Kim Be

Kim Lee Be age 74, of Grafton, ND passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at her home in Grafton.

Kim Lee Be was born October 10, 1949 in Pailin, Cambodia, the daughter of the late Kim Yan.  She attended school in Cambodia.  On January 3, 1970, Kim was united in marriage to Heng Be in Cambodia.  In 1981, the couple immigrated to the United States.  They made their home in Grafton and for a short time in California before returning back to Grafton.  Kim worked at the Life Skills and Transition Center and retired after working there for over 20 years.

She loved to travel and go fishing with Heng.

Kim is survived by her husband Heng Be and her niece, Rattana Thai.  She was preceded in death by her mother and brother Vary Ken.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton.  Visitation will be on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at the Grafton City Cemetery in the spring.
