Kelley Raye Mattson

Kelley Raye Mattson, age 51 of Drayton, ND passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at her home from a brain aneurysm.

Kelley Johnson was born September 10, 1970 at the Cavalier Memorial Hospital, the daughter of Janet (O’Hara) Johnson and the late Mark Johnson.  She attended school in Grafton and later attended Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN.  Following her graduation, she got her first job at the Bank of Hamilton in September of 1993 which is now called Koda Bank, where she has worked for the last 28 years. She was united in marriage to Todd Mattson on June 23, 1995. Kelley also had a part time job as secretary/treasurer for the Martin Township for the last few years.

Kelley always went above and beyond for everyone in need.  She loved her family and friends dearly.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She had an infectious smile that lit up a room.

Kelley is survived by her husband Todd, Drayton, ND, mother Janet Johnson, Grafton, ND, sister Cristie (Dan) Mitzel, niece and nephew Alexa and Nicholas, East Grand Forks, MN, father-in-law Roger Mattson, Oakwood, ND, sister-in-law Tracy (Dan) Young, Park River, ND nephew Michael, Fargo, ND and Jon (Vanessa) Mattson and their children Aubree and Odin, Grand Forks, ND.  She was preceded in death by her father Mark Johnson, brother-in-law Troy Mattson, mother-in-law JoAnn Mattson, grandparents John and Ruth O’Hara and her uncle Russell O’Hara.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Grafton Lutheran Church of Grafton.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Inurnment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Oakwood, ND.
