Julie D. Kalgard

Julie D. Kalgard, age 66 of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 in her home.

Julie D. Kalgard was born August 2, 1959 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Myron and Barbara (Cole) Kalgard. She grew up and attended school in Park River, ND. Following her high school graduation she attended Aaker’s Business College in Grand Forks. She worked at various businesses in Grand Forks with the most recent being Northeast Human Services. She retired last year due to her failing health.

Julie is survived by her siblings: Kim (Anna) Kalgard, Park River, ND; Chad (Alicia) Kalgard, Grafton, ND and Sheila Kalgard, Fargo, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Wade.

Per Julie’s wishes, private family services will be held at a later date.

The Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River is in charge of the arrangements.
