Judith Carolyn Orpha Helland

Judith Helland, age 72 of Grafton passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at her home in Grafton. Judith Carolyn Orpha Helland was born September 28, 1940 at the Deaconess Hospital, Grafton, the daughter of the late Oscar and Eleanor (Anderson) Helland. Judith moved to Grafton with her mother and brother Glenn after the death of her father. Eleanor entered the Lutheran Sunset Home in 1989. In 1989 Judith moved to REM on Summit where she made her home until the time of her death. Judith loved cats and had an outstanding memory for memorizing people's phone numbers. She was a member of the Grafton Lutheran Church. Judith is survived by her sister Lucille (Donald) Young, Grafton, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Gordon and Glenn Helland. Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Landstad Cemetery.
