Joyce L. Schultz

Joyce L. Schultz, age 82 of Balaton, MN and formerly of Grafton, ND passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Colonial Manor Homes in Balaton, MN.

Joyce L. Nelson was born June 25, 1934 in Dallas, TX the daughter of the late Isom Bradford and Lilly M. Nelson. She attended schools in Dallas. Joyce was united in marriage to Howard Schultz on November 19, 1953 in Dallas. When Howard was discharged from the Army, the couple moved to Acton Township and farmed there until 1989. They moved into Grafton in 1984. The couple operated a daycare and ran a taxi service in Grafton. Howard passed away in June of 2002. Joyce and her daughter Mary moved to Balaton in 2011.

She was a member of Grafton Lutheran Church.

Joyce is survived by her children: Jim (Michelle) Schultz, California and Mary Schultz, Balaton, MN and four grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 10: 30 A.M. at Grafton Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Grafton Lutheran Cemetery.
