Joyce Gunville

Joyce R. Gunville, age 67 of Grafton, ND passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her home in Grafton.

Joyce R. Olson was born June 11, 1949 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Edward and Mercedes (Nelson) Olson. She grew up and attended school in Adams, ND. The family moved to Grafton in 1969. Joyce was united in marriage to Albert Gunville on November 17, 1978 in Warren, MN. The couple made their home in Grafton. Joyce worked as a Resident Care Tech at the Developmental Center until retiring in 2002.

Joyce is survived by her children: Nichole (Matthew) Morris, Cheyenne, WY; Fred Gunville, Grand Forks, ND; two grandchildren: Emma and Jack. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Albert, brothers: Daniel, Roland and Wallace and sisters: Sharon and Janet.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Visitation will be Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at East Adams Cemetery, rural Adams ND in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Walsh County Nutrition Program/ Meals on Wheels, 907 Park St. E, Park River, ND 58270.
