Joshua Lawrence Bruce

Joshua Lawrence Bruce, age 23 of Grafton, ND passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home in Grafton.

Joshua Bruce was born July 23, 1994 in Grafton, ND, the son of Frank Hernandez and Christina Bruce. He grew up and attended school there, graduating from Grafton High School in 2012. Following his education, he worked various jobs in the Grafton area.

He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. He was extremely proud to be a father to his children. They were his world and he always called them “my lil family.” He was a very passionate person. He loved music and art. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and was very competitive. He enjoyed being around animals and had a great sense of humor.

Josh is survived by his parents: Christina Bruce of Grafton, ND and Frank Hernandez of Fargo, ND, siblings: Joseph Bruce and Deserae Bruce, Grafton, ND, children Xaviar and Jordan, paternal grandparents: Ramon (Alicia) Hernandez, Grafton, ND, maternal grandfather Isaac Rodriguez, aunts: Jessica Bruce, CO, Kelly Bruce, TX, Linda Ogle, Jena, LA, uncle Mike Hernandez, Grafton, ND, as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Sally Rodriguez.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be from 9-10:30 A.M. at the church. Interment will be at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery of Grafton.
