Joseph I. "Joe" Rudnik, age 66 of the Warsaw area passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at his home near Warsaw. Joe was born September 12, 1946 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Joseph F. and Anna (Wesolowski) Rudnik. He attended the St. Anthony School in Warsaw. Following his education he farmed with his brother Don. Joe was united in marriage to Loma Goodman on December 3, 1966 in Grafton. The couple made their home on the family farm near Warsaw. Joe also worked at American Crystal Sugar in Drayton, ND. Joe's health forced him to retire in 2004. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Warsaw and was a founding member of the Minto Jaycee's. Joe is survived by his wife, Loma, of Warsaw, ND; sons: Neil (Ronda) Rudnik, Tioga, ND; Joel (Kayla) Rudnik, Grafton, ND; two grandsons: Brady and Brent, both of Devils Lake, ND; brother, Don (Marianne) Rudnik, Minto, ND and sister, Marilyn (Richard) Birkholz, Fargo, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Warsaw. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to the time of the service at the church. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
