Jose Luis Lopez

Jose Luis "Joe" Lopez, age 24 of Grand Forks and formerly of Park River, ND passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. Jose Luis "Joe" Lopez was born November 24, 1989 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Dionicio "Donny" and Alma (Ramirez) Lopez. He grew up in Park River and graduated from Park River High School in 2009. He attended Northland Technical College in East Grand Forks, MN and was currently working as an assembler at Motor Coach Industries, Pembina, ND. Joe is survived by his fiancé, Kelsie Waller, Grand Forks, ND; his daughter, Harper Waller, Grand Forks, ND and a 2nd child is expected, his parents, Dionicio and Alma Lopez, Park River, ND; his brother, Donny Jr. (Diana) Lopez, Grafton, ND; sisters: Monique Lopez (Andy Gire), Park River, ND; Erica Lopez, Park River, ND; paternal grandfather, Dionicio Lopez, Minto, ND; paternal grandmother, Amelia Lopez, Pearsall, TX; maternal grandmother, Paula Gonzalez, Milwaukee, WI, maternal grandfather, Ramon Ramirez, Mexico; nieces and nephews: Bentley and Carter Lopez, Stephanie, Junior, Sheyene, Christine and Eddy Rangel. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great grandparents. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Park River. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM and Saturday for one hour prior to the service all at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River, ND.
