John V. Langowski

John V. Langowski, age 73 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, September 01, 2014 at his home in Grafton. John V. Langowski was born July 19, 1941 in Park River, ND the son of the late Joseph P. and Emeline M. (Kadlec) Langowski. He attended schools in Grafton and later went through basic training with the North Dakota National Guard in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He returned to Grafton and worked as farm labor and in the construction trades until his health forced him to retire in 1990. He continued to make his home in Grafton until his death. John is survived by his siblings: Vicky (Jim) Bryn, Reno, NV; Joe (Janet) Langowski, Pacific, WA Odo (Chris) Langowski, Peoria, AZ; Buster (Connie) Langowski, Hazen, ND; Ora (Henry) Meyer, Pacific, WA; Jeanne (Frank) Quinn, Santa Rosa, CA; Lester Langowski, Grafton, ND; Mary (Wally) Sturdivant, West Fargo, ND; Sylvia (Maurel) Mattson, West Fargo, ND; Veronica (Arlyn) Askim, Park River, ND; Georgia (Scott) Udby, Lankin, ND; brother-in-law, Ray Praska, Seattle, WA, sister-in-law, Cathy Langowski, Santa Rosa, CA. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Inny Praska and brother, Mark Langowski. Memorial services will be Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at St. John's catholic cemetery.
