Jeannie Marie Mattson

Jeannie Marie Mattson, age 56 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, August 04, 2011, peacefully at her home in Grafton. Jeannie M. Burns was born June 22, 1955 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Ted and Isabel (Olson) Burns. She graduated from Grafton High School. On March 9, 1974 she married Dennis Mattson and the couple made their home in Grafton. Jeannie worked at the Lutheran Sunset and Marvin Windows. She was an extremely devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and loved ones. Jeannie is survived by her husband Dennis; sons: Brian (Mary) Mattson, Chris (Jaime) Mattson and Shawn (Angela) Mattson; 11 grandchildren and her siblings: Terry (Lori) Burns, Cathy (Melvin) Tibert, John Burns, Jeff (Sandy) Burns, Mark Burns, Leann Flaaskog and Connie Burns. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
