Jeanne Mastre

Jeanne Mastre, age 68 of Park River, ND passed away on Sunday, March 07, 2010 at her home in Park River. Jeanne Clemetson was born February 18, 1942 in Park River, ND the daughter of the late Eddie and Myrtle (Flom) Clemetson. She graduated from the Walsh County Agricultural School in Park River. Jeanne was united in marriage to Donald Mastre on June 12, 1960. The couple made their home in Park River where she worked for Polar Communications. She later worked for Don Dusek at the Park River Redi Mix plant then worked as a supervisor for Friendship Incorporated, retiring in 2006. Jeanne was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and WELCA and the Walsh County Saddle Club. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandson. She is survived by her children; Jodie (James) Witmer and Michael Mastre, both of Park River, ND; her grandchildren: Sarah (Jeffrey) Roberts, Grand Forks, ND; Sheyanne, Savannah and Jayme, all of Park River, ND; her great grandson Jeffrey Roberts III, Grand Forks, ND; her siblings: Jerry (Rosalie) Clemetson, Riverton, WY; Uni (Paul) Veum, Grand Forks, ND; her in-laws: Ruthie (Lee) Elznic, Park River, ND; Ronnie (Joni) Mastre; Park River, ND; Bob (Linda) Mastre, West Fargo, ND; several nieces and nephews and life-long special friends: Karen Moe, Park River, ND; and Lynette Moe of Grafton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers: Larry and Myron. Memorial services will be Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church of Park River. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Friends may also call at the church on Friday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery of rural Hoople.
