Jeanette A. Osowski

Jeanette A. Osowski, age 91 of Grafton, ND passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Jeanette Dolan was born January 15, 1932 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of the late Edmond and Mary (McBride) Dolan.  She grew up and attended school in the Oakwood area, graduating from St. Aloysius Academy.  She was united in marriage to Hilary Osowski on October 18, 1950 in Oakwood.  The couple made their home on the family farm.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Oakwood, as well as the Acton Homemaker’s Club.  Her Catholic faith was very important to her.  She enjoyed canning, gardening, sewing, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and travelling during the winter months.

Jeanette is survived by her sons: Alan Osowski, Dave (Larae) Osowski, Mark (Carol) Osowski, Lee (Lori) Osowski, and Jon Osowski, all of Grafton, ND; daughter-in-law Kerri Osowski, Mesa, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Hilary; son Tim Osowski; daughter-in-law Gail Osowski; two sisters and four brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oakwood.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery of Oakwood.
