Jason E Degeldere

Jason E. DeGeldere, age 48 of Fargo and formerly of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at his home in Fargo.

Jason DeGeldere was born, May 14, 1973 in Grafton, ND, the son of Greg and Jill (Kliniske) DeGeldere.  He grew up and attended school in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High School in 1992.  Following his education, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served until being honorably discharged in 1996.  Upon his discharge he attended UND working toward a degree in Civil Engineering.  He returned to Grafton and worked for Marvin Windows for over 13 years.  He was united in marriage to Candace Olsonoski on July 25, 2001 in Grand Forks.  Jason had relocated to Fargo, ND early this year where he worked as a service tech for Meridian Property Management.

Jason was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oakwood and the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles, cooking and weightlifting.

He is survived by his children: Kaleigh, Morgan, Jacob, Jocelyn and Oliver, all of Grafton, ND, parents Greg (Jill) DeGeldere, Grafton, ND, sister Heather (Michael) Seim, Grand Forks, ND and special aunt Penny Altendorf, Northwood, ND.  He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, nephew Oscar Seim, as well as several aunts and uncles.

A private family service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton.  Inurnment will be at the Fargo National Veteran’s Cemetery in the spring.
