Janice Fedje

Janice A. Fedje, age 70 of Hoople, ND died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Janice A. Aanenson was born October 14, 1937 near Nekoma, ND the daughter of the late Aanen and Clara (Idland) Aanenson. She graduated from Nekoma High School in 1955 and then attended Aaker's Business College in Grand Forks. Following her education she worked at the Grand Forks Federal Savings and Loan. Janice was united in marriage to Peter Kiewel on July 11, 1964 in Grand Forks. The couple lived in Florida and California where she worked for various banks. She married John Fedje on October 17, 1975 in Hoople. The couple lived and farmed in the Hoople area until his death. Janice remained in Hoople until May 29, 2008 when she moved to the Lutheran Sunset Home.

Janice is survived by her sister Lois Melland of Fairdale, ND; niece Denise (Jon) Meyers, Omaha, NE; nephew Gary Melland, Drayton, ND, half-brother Hubert Ellis, Helena, MT and sister-in-law Merle Fedje, Grafton, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, husband John, sister Ruby Schmidt a half sister and half brother.
