Jane Melton

Jane Melton, age 61 of Grafton, ND passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Unity Medical Center of Grafton. Jane Angus was born September 3, 1950 in Hyannis, MA the daughter of John and Willie Jane (Melton) Angus. Jane's father was a Major in the United States Air Force and traveled all over the world. Jane received her education in various schools throughout the United States. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and received her Master's Degree in Foreign Language in Vermont. She taught Spanish and English as a Second Language in Newburgh, NY and South Yarmouth, MA. Jane moved to Grafton in the summer of 2009 to be closer to her family. Jane had a real love of music and played the harp. She was devoted to her Lord and had a very giving heart, especially to the least fortunate among us. She is survived by her mother, Willie Jane Angus, Grafton, ND; siblings: Karen (Roy) Bigwood, St. Thomas, ND; Craig (Karen) Angus, Aspen, CO; nieces and nephews: David (Linzi) Bigwood, Goddard, KS; Heather Bigwood, Hillsboro, KS; Eric and Scott Angus, Aspen, CO. She was preceded in death by her father and two siblings. Funeral services will be Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Zion English Lutheran Church, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Friday for a half hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. Thomas City Cemetery, St. Thomas, ND.
