Irene R. Schlosser

Irene R. Schlosser, age 64 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Irene R. Rodriguez was born April 29, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas to Nicholas and Genoveva (Valero) Rodriguez.  She was raised in Robbin, MN and attended Kennedy Public Schools.

After her education, she began working with her parents in agriculture.  In the early 80’s Irene and her family settled in Grafton, where she raised her four beloved children.  In 2007, Irene met Lance Schlosser and began their beautiful life together, uniting in marriage the summer of 2022 on July 30 at their home in Grafton.

Irene worked at LM Wind Power, Lutheran Sunset Home, and Marvin Windows where she worked for 12 years before retiring.  Irene’s biggest joy in life was her grandchildren.  She spoiled them with her love and time, always making sure they knew they were cherished.

Irene loved to cook and host her family for holidays and special events.  She loved attending dances and celebrations.  Her most treasured times were spending time with her family and making memories that will last forever.

Irene will be dearly missed by her husband Lance Schlosser, Grafton, ND; children: Nicholas Rodriguez, Fargo, ND, Apolonia (Victor) Luciano, Fort Worth, TX, Anthony (Arely) Carrillo, Fargo, ND, and Kiara (Christobal) Garza, Grafton, ND; nine beloved grandchildren; her mother Genoveva Rodriguez, Grand Forks, ND; her siblings: Beatrice (Kevin) Machart, Herlinda (Thomas) Perez, Teresa Rodriguez, Yolanda (Arturo) DelaCruz, Donald (Janelle) Rodriguez, and Susan (Jesus B) Castillo; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, her brother Richard, her sister Virginia, and granddaughter Sophia Garza.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton.  Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery of Grafton.
