Henry E. Czapiewski

Henry E. Czapiewski, age 59 of Minto passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013. Henry E. Czapiewski was born June 27, 1953 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Henry A. and Emily A. (Rogalla) Czapiewski. He grew up and attended school in Minto, graduating from Minto High School. Following his education he enlisted in the United States Army, serving from 1972-1975 in Germany. Following his discharge he returned to Minto and started working at the Minto water plant, retiring in 2009. Henry was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto. He is survived by his brother, John (Nancy) Czapiewski of Grand Forks, ND; three aunts: Dorothy Rudnik and Martha Rudnik, both of Minto, ND; Mary Ann Czapiewski, Tacoma, WA; niece, Dana and her family and nephews, Mike and Darren and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND. Military rites will be provided by the Minto American Legion Post #201 and the North Dakota National Guard Honor Guard.
