Helen F. Osowski

Helen F. Osowski, age 93 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.

Helen F. Korczak was born March 13, 1925 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of the late Anton and Victoria (Marynik) Korczak. She grew up and attended rural school near Warsaw. Helen was united in marriage to Amborse Osowski on June 17, 1946 in Warsaw, North Dakota. The couple lived in Grafton for a short time and then moved to the farm in Acton Township. The couple lived and farmed in Acton Township until 1979. They remained on the farm until 2008 when they moved to the Lutheran Sunset Home. Ambrose passed away Feb. 14, 2009.

Helen was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and crocheting.

Helen is survived by her children: Genny Keeley, Grand Forks, ND; Kenny (Debbie) Osowski, Grafton, ND; six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her siblings: Greg (Genevieve) Korczak, Las Vegas, NV; Henry (Janice) Korczak, Grand Forks, ND; Alice Stancyk, Strandquist, MN and Mary Jean Altendorf, Trail, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and son-in-law, Rosie and Larry Eng and her brother, Sylvester Korczak.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
