Harrison Lindblad, age 84 of Grafton, passed away March 31, 2015 at his home in Grafton. Harrison Adolph Lindblad was born February 28, 1931 in Drayton, North Dakota, the 11th child in a family of 13 children, to Axel and Mary Lindblad of Drayton, ND. Harrison moved to the Grafton State School on October 3, 1938 and then into REM-ND in the Manvel Group Home on October 5, 1987, where he made his home until the time of his death. Harrison was a man of humor and loved to play jokes on his staff and the people he enjoyed being around the most. Harrison loved animals, especially dogs and birds. Harrison was a member of a bird watching society in his younger years. Harrison is survived by a sister, Marion, Burlington, IA and local family: nephew, Keith Lindblad, Grafton, ND; great nieces: Lisa (Mitch) Nelson, Auburn, ND and Kayla Lindblad, Grafton, ND. There are also other nieces and nephews that he is survived by. Funeral services will be Friday, April 3, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the All Faith's Chapel at the Life Skills and Transitional Center of Grafton, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, IA.
