Godfrey F. Dvorak

Godfrey F. Dvorak, age 94 of Minto, ND passed away on Sunday, August 05, 2012 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Godfrey F. Votava was born November 20, 1917 on the farm near Veseleyville, ND the daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Dusek) Votava. She attended rural schools near Veseleyville. Godfrey was united in marriage to Sidney Dvorak on June 17, 1946 in Veseleyville. The couple made their home there until 1961 when they moved to Minto. Godfrey was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society, the Minto American Legion Auxiliary and the Minto Benefit Bridge Club. She is survived by her husband Sidney, Minto, ND; children: Linda (Paul) Lemieux, Grafton, ND; Loretta (Ross) Kringlie, Fargo, ND; Conrad (Lorraine) Dvorak, Quincy, ILL; Sidney John (Judy) Dvorak, Minto, ND; Timothy (Cori) Dvorak, Grafton, ND; Kevin (Beth) Dvorak, Bismarck, ND; Lori Dvorak, Daughter-in-law; Gillette, WY; Joel, (Becky) Dvorak, Casper, WY; Allan (Carolanne) Dvorak, Bismarck, ND; and Kim (Cathy) Dvorak, Bismarck, ND. 33 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren also survive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Dean and Randy; three sisters: Ann Barta, Alexa Swartz and Marcy Frovarp and two brothers: Ermin Votava and Ewald Votava. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Minto, ND.
