Glenda L. Glanner

Glenda L. Glanner, age 68 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at her home in Grafton.

Glenda L. Hoenke was born June 22, 1950 in Grafton, ND the daughter of Charles and Ardella (Holt) Hoenke. She grew up in Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School. Glenda worked at the Grafton Curling club for a time. She married John Glanner on September 10, 1976 in Grafton. The couple made their home here and she worked for Home of Economy, Coast to Coast Hardware Store, Vally-Jo Foods and most recently at SWS Credit Services. Glenda also did Day Care at her home and especially loved to take care of her granddaughter, Margaret.

She was active in her church all her life.

Glenda is survived by her children: Jeremy (Laura) Glanner, Grafton, ND; Jennie Langaas, Grand Forks, ND; two grandchildren: Jayde Langaas and Margaret Glanner; her mother, Ardella Hoenke, Grafton, ND; her siblings: Kevin (Zebbie) Hoenke, Jodean (Bill) Collette, Cheryl Estevis and Carol (Mark) Osowoski, all of Grafton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband John on June 2, 2018 and her father Charles on June 26, 2018.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 20, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Grafton Lutheran Church, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Minto, North Dakota.
