Georgia Seboe

Georgia E. Seboe, age 78 of Park River, ND passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.

Georgia E. Schmaltz was born November 25, 1937 in Thorne, ND, the daughter of the late George and Mary Agatha (Dexheimer) Schmaltz. She attended school in Churchs Ferry, ND and graduated Valedictorian of her class in 1956. Following her education, she was united in marriage to Max Olson in Denver, CO. The couple lived in Colorado, Texas, Ohio, and Wisconsin. She returned to Colorado and received her Cosmetology License. She moved to Park River in 1983 and worked at the Alexander House and Terra. She was united in marriage to Allerd Seboe on November 1, 1986 in Park River. The couple made their home near Park River until her death.

She was a member of the Cattle Women’s Association. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, crosswords, Sudoku, cooking and canning.

Georgia is survived by her husband Allerd, Park River, ND, daughter Kelli (Chris) Golembeski, Oshkosh, WI, siblings: Irene (Paul) Streifel, Minnewaukan, ND, Lucille (Warren) Anderson, Devils Lake, ND, Marian Thompson, Motley, MN, Phil (Linda) Schmaltz, Devils Lake, ND, Margaret (Ray) Heisler, Golden, CO, Charlie (Julie) Schmaltz, Devils Lake, ND, and Danny (Nikki) Schmaltz, Fargo, ND, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Eric Olson, and sisters: Agnes Hager and Jeanette Heisler.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Park River. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery of Park River.
