Frederick Jerome "Andy" Anderson

Frederick Jerome "Andy" Anderson, age 93 of Park River, ND passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the Park River Good Samaritan Center.

Frederick was born October 19, 1932 in Grafton, ND the son of the late Frederick J. and Josephine (Knutson) Anderson. After graduating high school he entered the United States Air Force and served from 1951-1961. Upon his discharge he remained in Oklahoma where he met and married Marjorie F. Woodcock on October 5, 1970. the couple relocated to Park River in July of 1993.

He had a lifetime telephone operator license from the FCC. After his retirement he and Marjorie embraced their military "Family" by their regular visits with the service members at the Park River American Legion. Marjorie died on March 6, 2018. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Park River, ND. Military rites will be provided by the Park River American Legion and the US Air Force Honor Guard.
