Frederick Howland Allen Iii

Frederick Howland Allen III was born December 6, 1958 to Marilyn (Miller) and Frederick Howland Allen II in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Fred died of natural causes at his home in Walhalla, ND on January 1, 2019. Fred’s death was unexpected and has caused grief beyond any form of measure.

Fred graduated from Manasquan High School in 1977. He joined the United States Air Force and ended up stationed in North Dakota. There, Fred met and married Julie Bowles on October 26, 1984 in Edinburg, ND. They made their home where ever Fred’s work took them including; Grand Forks, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Colorado Springs, Cavalier and lastly, Walhalla.

Fred lives on through the people who love him; his wife, Julie, brother-in-law, Jason (Gina) Bowles, sisters-in-law: Susie (Todd) Graveline, Jan (David) Haslekaas, his mom, Marilyn “YoHoo” Allen, sister, Laurie “Bussie” (Jim) Reilly, nieces: Caroline Reilly, Lauren Gravelin, Jadeyn Symington , Greta Haslekaas, nephews: Hayes Haslekaas, J.R. Reilly, Darrin Reilly and all of Fred’s friends, neighbors and co-workers. Fred joins those that loved him and are there to greet him; Laurel “LaLa” Bowles, Angie Symington, his father, Fred II, Jack Bowles and his friend Brian.

A life well lived, a life that touched many and a life ended too soon. I love you Fred.
