Frank G. Pesek

Frank G. Pesek, age 87 of Lawton, ND passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. Frank G. Pesek was born July 15, 1926 on the family farm near Lawton, ND the son of the late Frank J. and Marie (Vasichek) Pesek. He attended rural school in Shepherd Township of Walsh County. Following his education he farmed with his father near Lawton. Frank was united in marriage to Doris Pecka on October 15, 1956 in Grafton, ND. The couple made their home in Grafton for two years following their marriage. They returned to Lawton and started farming. Frank also worked as a mechanic for rmany years. He retired in 1996 and continued to live on the family farm until September 21, 2011 when he moved to the Good Samaritan Center. He was a member of the Catholic Workman of Bechyne. Frank is survived by his wife, Doris of Lawton, ND; sons: Kenneth of Lawton and Dale (Geraldine) Pesek, Lawton, ND; three grandchildren: Raevyn, Jaedyn and Ashtyn Pesek, his sister, Josephine Johnson, International Falls, MN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother George, sister, Anna Marie Boura, brother-in-laws: Charles Johnson and Ed Boura. Funeral services will be Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Kosobud Cemetery, rural Lankin, ND.
