Frank Raymond Narloch, Sr, age 68 of Fordville, ND passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at his home in Fordville. Frank R. Narloch was born February 26, 1941 to Joseph and Frances (Passa) Narloch. After graduating from Drayton High School in 1958, he attended college at UND for massage therapy, UCLA of California and Kansas City, MO where he finished his internship. He graduated with six other high ranking students in November of 1963.
Frank opened his first massage office in Grafton in 1964. In November 1964 he married Joanne Erovick of Park River, ND. Together they had three children. They later divorced in 1971.
In 1970 Frank was employed at Hanson-Kopperud, Hank's Plumbing and Heating and the State Developmental Center, where he worked for 15 years in grounds maintenance and facility upkeep. He moved to Sioux Falls, SD for a while and eventually moved back to the Grafton area where he worked a variety of jobs and eventually settled in Fordville where he resided until his death.
Frank enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, gardening, carpentry and spending time with family and friends.
Frank is survived by two sons: David (Patty) & Frank Jr, both of Grafton, ND; three grandchildren: Michael, Fred & Jessica; brother Joseph of Minto, ND; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four year old son Fredrick; brothers: Leon, Harry and Edward and sisters: Katherine and Mary Ann.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday for one hour prior to the service.
