Francis Bruce Diffenbaugh

Francis B. Diffenbaugh age 69 of Veseleyville, North Dakota and formerly of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026 at his home in Veseleyville.

Francis Bruce Diffenbaugh was born February 19, 1957 in San Francisco, California, the son of the late George Glenn and Addie Louise (McVicker) Diffenbaugh. He grew up in San Francisco where he attended school, received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and served in the United States Army. He moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and worked as Mechanical Engineer for a wind farm. He made his home in Cheyenne with his life partner, Constance until the time of her death. In 2026, Bruce met Chris Frisby and moved to Veseleyville, North Dakota.

Bruce spent everyday thanking God for bringing him to North Dakota, a place where he felt genuine happiness. He loved living here.

Bruce is survived by his life partner, Chris Frisby, Veseleyville, ND; Chris’ daughter, Agatha (RJ) Sanders, Veseleyville, ND; Chris’ grandchildren: Richard and Mabel; his daughter, Brittany McAllister-Diffenbaugh and his sister, Shay Debra Wingrath-Diffenbaugh.

Per Bruce’s wishes he will be buried in Cheyenne, Wyoming at a later date.
