Frances M. Stanislawski

Frances M. "Frannie" Stanislawski, age 76, of Warsaw, ND passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Frances M. Stanislawski was born May 3, 1936 in Warsaw, ND the daughter of the late Joseph and Anastasia (Czapiewski) Stanislawski. She grew up and attended schools there. Following her education she worked at Smokey's and Jack's Bar in Ardoch, ND. During potato harvest she would help area farmers. She worked at Polly's in Grafton for over 25 years. She also did baking at Hardee's and the Minto Café. She worked for a short time at Trax in Grafton before retiring in 2001. Frannie was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and Altar Society of Warsaw. She was known around the area for her cooking and baking. Frannie was espeacilly fond of her dog Casey and loved to play bingo. She is survived by her son Kevin Stanislawski, Grafton, ND; siblings: Judy (George) Tuma, Grand Forks and Richard "Dickie" Stanislawski, Warsaw, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Edward, Arnold and Joey. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 23, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Warsw. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
