Frances M. Seeba, age 96 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton.
Frances M. Mozinski was born December 27, 1920 near Warsaw, ND the daughter of the late Anton and Margaret (Slominski) Mozinski. She attended rural school in Pulaski Township. Following her education she married Leslie Seeba on September 9, 1941 in Warsaw, ND. The couple lived and farmed in Acton Township until his death in 1978. Frances continued to live on the farm until moving to the Lutheran Sunset Home in 2008.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Oakwood. She was a charter member of the Acton Homemakers Group, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Eagle’s Auxiliary. She served on the North Valley Vo-Tech Advisory Board, a member of the Walsh County Historical Society and she served as President of the Senior Citizen’s Bowling league and played in the Grafton Kitchen Band.
Frances is survived by her children: Diane Gallagher, Beaverton, OR; Jerry “Beano” (Margie) Seeba, Grand Forks, ND; Marlys “Mitzi” McDonald, Fargo, ND; Myron “Happy” Seeba (Wendy Ness), Park River, ND; Brad “Moochie” (Beth) Seeba, Grand Forks, ND; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Frances was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Ronnie, brothers: Florian, Steve, Henry, Frankie, and Adam and sister Sarah.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 17, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Oakwood, North Dakota. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 A.M until the time of the service at the church in Oakwood. Interment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic cemetery of Oakwood.
