Floyd W. “Bill” Sirman, age 72 of Pisek, ND passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the First Care Health Center of Park River.
Bill Sirman was born August 28, 1945 in Shreveport, LA, the son of the late Stanley and Ruth (Perkins) Sirman. He grew up and attended school there, graduating from Woodlawn High School. He enlisted in the US Navy and served in Vietnam. He retired from the Navy after 22 years of service. Following his discharge he worked for the Air Force Civil Services in Louisiana and later for Brandt’s and Westward Ho in Las Vegas. He was united in marriage to Annita Berg on April 8, 1989 in Ringgold, GA. The couple moved to Pisek, ND in 2006 where he began working for Marvin Windows in Grafton until retiring.
He was a member of the Pisek American Legion Post #208. He enjoyed spending time with his family, sitting around campfires, and his dogs.
He is survived by his wife Annita, Pisek, ND, children: Cindi (Jeff) Zotti, James Sirman, Alissa (Howard) Sirman, step-children: Britanie Feld and Devon (Luke) Dvorak, grandchildren: Miranda Zotti, Stephinie, Ashley, and Nathan Sirman, Katelynn (Jacob) Moore, Brandon and Nicole Torgersrud, step-grandchildren: Kyann Allen, Wyatt and Sage Lembke, siblings: Barb (David) Doherty, Barry (Beryl) Sirman, Ruth (Jeff) Rose, Bobby Lyons, Johnny (Jan) Lyons, and Barney Lyons. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.
Memorial services will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided by the Pisek American Legion Post #208 and the US Naval Honor Guard.
