Florence M. Linstad

Florence M. Linstad, age 89 of Park River, ND and Adams, ND passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Center of Park River.

Florence M. Drevecky was born June 21, 1927 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Frank and Minnie (Berg) Drevecky. She grew up and attended school in Adams, graduating from Adams High School. She attended Aaker’s Business College in Grand Forks for one year. Following her education she worked in Grand Forks. She returned to Adams and started working as a bookkeeper for the Farmers Union and the Credit Union. She later worked in Michigan and Tolna, ND. Florence was united in marriage to Gerald Linstad on April 27, 1963 in Adams. The couple lived and farmed near Adams. Gerald passed away on April 17, 1985. Florence moved to Park River in 1989

She was a member of the Adams Mountain Lutheran Church and WELCA. She was a member of the Kraft Klub, Royal Neighbors and the Good Samaritan Auxiliary.

Florence is survived by her son, David (Jackie) Linstad, Adams, ND; two granddaughters: Karlee and Haylee, both of Adams, ND; and her sister-in-law, Orine Drevecky, Park River, ND. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Vernon.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Adams Mountain Lutheran Church, Adams, ND. Visitation will be Thursday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Sarepta Lutheran Cemetery, Rural Adams, ND.
