Felix A. Hornberger

Felix A. Hornberger, age 53 of Park River, ND passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at his home in Park River after a sudden illness.

Felix Avery Hornberger was born September 30, 1962 in Garrison, ND the son of Norman and Katherine “Kitty” (Frieze) Hornberger. He graduated from Park River High School in 1981. He attended the North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND for welding and machining. Following his education he worked for American Crystal Sugar in East Grand Forks, MN and Skorheim Farms near Adams. In 1990 he moved to Washington where he worked as a steel fabricator. Felix returned to Park River in 2013 and continued to work for Skorheim Farms.

Felix is survived by his children: Karianne (Jamie) Hornberger, Monroe, WA; Emily (Brandon) Hornberger, Everett, WA; Casey Hornberger, Everett, WA and Jacob Hornberger, Monroe, WA; his parents, Norman and Kitty Hornberger, Park River, ND; siblings: Bruce (Gloria) Hornberger, Brooksville, FL; Becky (Jay) Skorheim, Park River, ND; four nieces and nephews: Kelsey and Sarah Hornberger and Trevor and Craig Skorheim. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Park River, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Hoff Lutheran Cemetery, rural Adams.
