Eva Mae Suda, age 74 of Grafton, ND passed away Sunday, January 04, 2009 at the Lutheran Sunset Home of Grafton. Eva Mae Sevigny was born January 15, 1934 in Grafton, ND the daughter of the late Leon and Clara (Dumas) Sevigny. She grew up and attended school in Grafton, ND. Following her education she worked as a bookkeeper at H. E. Eversons and Wilson Brothers. She later went to work at the Grafton City Hall where she worked until retiring in 1994.  Eva was united in marriage to Ted Suda on October 28, 1988 in Grafton. The couple made their home in Grafton.

Eva was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Altar Society and VFW Auxiliary.

Eva is survived by her husband, Ted of Grafton, ND; step-children: Rick (Elizabeth) Suda, Devils Lake, ND; Joyce Haug, Yuma, AZ; Susan (Tom) Holt, Grafton, ND; Judy Suda, East Grand Forks, MN; Robert (Lori) Suda, Green Bay, WI; Pat Suda, Grafton, ND; Kathy (Blane) Swanson, Grafton, ND; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; siblings: Raymond (Sophie) Sevigny, Grand Forks, ND; Irene (Alwin) Altendorf, Mesa, AZ; Edith Gierszewski, Grafton, ND; Olivine Houdek, Grafton, ND; Wilmer (Lavergne) Sevigny, Brooks, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Grafton, ND. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 P.M.-6:15 P.M with a prayer service at 6:15 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton is in charge of the arrangements.
