Eva Contreras

On Friday, July 24, 2020, Eva Contreras, passed away at the age of 90.

Eva was born on June 12, 1930 in D’Hanis, Texas.  She grew up in Texas where she met Pedro Contreras.  They were married May 29, 1954 in Hondo, Texas.  They had 8 beautiful children together.  She spent her life raising and loving her family.  She lived in Ardoch, ND and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto.  She was a devoted mother and caring grandmother.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro, and son Juan Pedro “Peter” and grandson, Marcus.  She is survived by her seven children: Maria, Linda, Gloria, Angelita, David, Joann, and Melissa; 23 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Minto on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. at the church.  Interment will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery of Ardoch.  Social distancing will be observed and masks are encouraged. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to go to St. John's Catholic Cemetery of Ardoch.
