Eugene Dean Mecham

Eugene D. Mecham, age 30 of Grafton, ND passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 in Grafton.

Eugene Mecham was born June 22, 1986 in Cavalier, ND the son of Dean (Tami) Mecham and Janelle Slama. He worked his way through the apprenticeship program and became a journeyman Millwright out of Union Local 1176, Fargo, ND. Eugene became a daddy to Kira in 2008 and again in 2013 to Sofia. These two little girls became the joys of his life.

Eugene is survived by his loving parents; Dean (Tami) Mecham, Grafton, ND, Janelle Slama, Hoople, ND; his two beautiful and precious daughters: Kira and Sofia, Warsaw, ND; sisters: Bobbi and AnaLea of Fargo, ND; Tracy of Grand Forks, ND; his brother, Adam, Canby, MN; nephews: Jayse, Damon, Aidyn, Jaxon and Matthew, nieces: Harper and Finnleigh and Godfather, Craig Carrier. Many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eugene and Doris Mecham.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tollefson Funeral home of Grafton. Visitation will be Wednesday for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Grafton Lutheran Cemetery.
