Erling Eugene Skaro, Sr

Erling Eugene Skaro, SR. age 69 of Gardar, ND and Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Altru Hospital of Grand Forks. Erling Eugene Skaro was born November 14, 1944 in Langdon, ND the son of the late Elling and Emily (Horgdal) Skaro. He attended schools in Gardar and Edinburg, ND. Following his education he was united in marriage to Deb Headdy on February 3, 1971. The couple made their home in Gardar. Eugene worked for Hall Farms in Edinburg until retiring in 2004. In 2006 he moved to Grafton and lived with his son Eugene Skaro Jr. In 2013 he moved to the Good Samaritan Center of Park River. He is survived by his son Erling Eugene (Annette) Skaro, JR of Grafton, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Gardar Lutheran Church. Friends may call at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the Gardar Cemetery.
