Eric Perez

Eric Perez, age 47 of Grafton passed away December 12, 2012 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. Eric Perez was born June 27, 1965 in Drayton, ND, the son of Shirley (Erovick) Greicar and the late Felix Perez. He attended school in Grafton and graduated High School in Deer Lodge, MT. He began working in Deer Lodge as a Chef. He returned to Grafton where he continued his career as a chef working for Marketplace, Fair Oaks Golf Course and Hardees. He also worked for Mark Gourde for several years, helping with the harvest. Eric loved his cat "Handsome", loved plants, liked to fix things and was a hard worker. Eric is survived by his mother Shirley Greicar, Grafton, ND; daughter Trista Marie Perez, Louisiana; grandmother Marjorie Patocka, Grafton, ND; uncle Gordon Erovick, Grafton, ND; aunts: Geraldine Erovick, Grafton, ND; Linda Dockter, Bismarck, ND; Sandy Loughead, Grafton, ND; special friend Geri Ebertowski, Grafton, ND. He was preceded in death by his father Felix, grandfather Joseph Patocka and aunt Johanna Trueblood. Funeral services will be Monday December 17, 2012 at 2:30 PM at the Tollefson Funeral Home of Grafton. Friends may call at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Grafton City Cemetery, Grafton.
