Elsie M. Ferch

Elsie M. Ferch, age 86 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska, MN. Elsie M. Magenau was born April 22, 1925 in Carlisle Township of Pembina County the daughter of the late Carl and Rose (Miller) Magenau. She attended rural school in Pembina County. Elsie was united in marriage to Leslie Ferch on March 3, 1945 in Neche, ND. The couple lived and farmed near Hamilton, ND until 1976 when they moved to Grafton, ND. Leslie passed away on April 12, 1991. Elsie is survived by her daughters: Linda Jean (Gary) Parker, Delano, MN; Mary Irene (Phillip) Leibfried, Farmington, MN; Frances Lily (William) Sevigny Sr., Grafton, ND; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and sister Esther (Ray) Brokke, Grand Forks, ND. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers: Arnold and Robert.
