Eli Luke Wilcox

Eli Luke Wilcox, age 8 of Fordville, ND passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at his home in Fordville.

Eli Luke Wilcox was born October 30, 2013 in Fargo, ND the son of Luke and Lacey (Groninger) Wilcox. He attended Fordville Elementary School where he had completed the 2 ^nd grade.  Eli loved to spend time outside with his family and listening to music, especially George Strait.

He enjoyed attending his brother and sister’s ball games and the occasional trip with dad out to check cows. He was known for his infectious smile and long eyelashes and his giggle will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his parents, Luke and Lacey Wilcox, Fordville, ND; his twin brother Liam, sister Sadie; his paternal grandparents: Gordon and Dori Wilcox, Douglas, ND; maternal grandparents: Dwayne and Jolene Groninger, Douglas, ND; maternal great grandmothers, Patricia Steckler, Killdeer, ND; and Isabel Groninger, Minot, ND; paternal great grandparents, Daniel and Gloria Lies, Douglas, ND along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfathers, Leonard Steckler and Herbert (Gene) Groninger and paternal great grandparents, James and Irene Wilcox.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Fordville Lutheran Church, Fordville, ND. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the service at the church. Viewing and graveside services will be Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Douglas, ND starting at 1:00 PM, burial at 2:00 PM. A lunch will follow at the Douglas Senior Center.
