Edwin R. Witt

Edwin R. Witt, age 75, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020, surrounded by family in Grand Forks, ND.

Ed was born May 5, 1945 to Virgil and Dora ( Lucus) Witt in Denver, CO.   He graduated from Adams City High School in 1963.  In 1966, he joined United Airlines and served as a loyal employee for 38 years.  Ed met his beautiful bride and wife of 50 years, Judith McKeehan. They were later married on March 14, 1970 in Commerce City, CO.

Ed enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He loved guns and the sport of hunting as well as cooking and looming.

Ed is survived by his wife; Judy, brother; John Witt, sister:  Azile Sato, son:  Ray Witt, daughters: Mary Nelson, Heather Weatherford and Jennifer Evans, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.

Graveside services will be Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery of Park River.  Masks are recommended and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
