Dwight T. Sondreson

Dwight T. Sondreson, age 68 of Edinburg, ND, passed away on June 21, 2024 at Valley Senior Living of Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Dwight T. Sondreson was born September 15, 1955 in Grafton, ND, the son of A.L. (Bud) and Mae Sondreson.  He attended Edinburg School. He worked on the family farm, did over the road trucking and worked for Mydral Brothers for many years, until ill health forced his retirement.

Dwight was talented at drawing and loved to cook.  He made a mean macaroni salad.  He was mechanically gifted and loved engines.  He enjoyed his 1969 Hemi Orange Roadrunner and his 1947 Harley Knucklehead.  He also liked to watch Nascar races.  He loved his faithful dog “Chase” who preceded him in death.

Dwight is survived by siblings: Lawrence (Mary) Sondreson of Grafton, ND, Diane (Rolf) Brakvatne, Fargo, ND, Loren Sondreson, Hoople, ND, and Ellen (Todd) Domben, Edinburg, ND; also surviving are four nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family service will be held at a later date.  Inurnment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery of Edinburg, ND.
