Dwight Earl Cummings

Dwight E. Cummings, age 65 of Grafton, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his home in Grafton.

Dwight Earl Cummings was born in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, the son of the late Willie George and Mary Elizabeth (Shepherd) Cummings.  He graduated high school in Ocean Springs, Mississippi and attended the Southern Baptist College.  He moved to Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba.  Dwight was united marriage to Eileen (Toews) Clermont on July 4, 1992 in Selkirk, Manitoba at Grace Baptist Church.  The couple made their home in California, Winnipeg, MB and Hallock, MN, where he worked as a church planner.  The couple moved to Grafton where Dwight worked for the Life Skills and Transition Center.

He loved being in church and visiting his family.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Eileen Cummings, Grafton, ND; children:  Adrian Richard (Chrissi) Clermont, Montreal, Quebec; Jason Scott (Holly) Clermont, Sacramento, California; Jackie Clermont, Grafton, ND; grandchildren:  Sara Clermont, Owen Clermont, Louis Olson and William Olson; siblings:  Hugh (Dixie) Cummings, Ann Walker, Dorothy (Lloyd) Phelps and Doris Welch.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
