Douglas David Praska, age 63, a long time resident of the Grafton area passed away Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Unity Medical Center in Grafton, ND.
Douglas D. Praska was born October 2, 1953 at St. Ansgar’s Hospital in Park River, ND, the son of the late David and Betty (Novak) Praska. He grew up and graduated from Park River High School. Douglas worked in the Grafton area with the United States Postal Service and many other agricultural companies.
Douglas is survived by his children: Shawn Praska, Grafton, ND; Jeremy Praska, Grafton, ND; his brother, Guy Praska, Park River, ND; his sisters: Deborah Nelson (Praska), Minot, ND and Peenie Rand (Praska), Thief River Falls, MN. He is also survived by his grandchildren and many close friends he cherished throughout his life. Douglas was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne, his parents and sister, Julie.
A family graveside service will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Calvary Cemetery, Park River, ND.
