Dorothy Jean Hutson

Dorothy Jean Hutson, age 76 of Grafton, ND passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at her home.

Dorothy Jean was born on March 12, 1946 in Tuckerman, Arkansas, the daughter of the late James and Stella (Hale) Hutson.  Dorothy spent her childhood in Tuckerman and Newport, AR.  She married Reidus Johnson in 1964.  Dorothy and Reidus had three children together, Myronda, Connie, and Reidus Jr.  Dorothy later moved to Michigan to start a new chapter in her life and was blessed with two daughters: Michelle and Holly.  Dorothy returned to Arkansas for many years, then finally moved to Grafton, ND in 2018 to be closer to her children.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, going to the casino, doing puzzles and coloring.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Myronda (Ranulfo) Moreno, Grafton, ND, Connie Fuglestad, Grand Forks, ND, Reidus Johnson, Jr., Minto, ND, Michelle Murphy, Michigan, and Holly Murphy, Michigan; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

A private family service will be held.
