Doreen D Machovsky

Doreen D. Machovsky, age 64 of Grafton, ND passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at the Unity Medical Center of Grafton, ND.

Doreeen D. Batesole was born August 5, 1952 in Jamestown, ND the daughter of the late Vernon and Myrtle (Christianson) Batesole. She attended schools in Jamestown and Pingree, ND, graduating from Pingree High School. She graduated from Valley City State Teacher’s College with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught schools in Wimbledon, ND and Sheyenne, ND. Doreen was united in marriage to Dallas Machovsky on July 18, 1975 in Pingree, ND. The couple moved to Grafton in 1996 and she was employed at the Life Skills and Transition Center for 16 years until her health forced her to retire.

Doreen is survived by her husband, Dallas, Grafton, ND; her children: Troy (Kassie) Machovsky and Jill Andrews (James Olafson), both of Inkster, ND; her grandchildren: Alyssa, Joelle and Garrett Machovsky, her sister, Donna Foster, Seattle, WA as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jack.

Memorial services will be Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Zion English Lutheran Church of Grafton. Visitation will be Monday for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at the Inkster Cemetery, Inkster, North Dakota.
